Promoting from Within, RevaComm Elevates Three to Leadership Team

User-Centered Design, Agile Software Development

As RevaComm continues to scale its capabilities, reach, and team to better serve its commercial, local, state, and federal customers, the Hawaii-based technology company recently promoted three employees to the level of Director, effective immediately.

Promotions

Aaron Yee, Director of Technology, was hired to help lead Revacomm’s engineering team at the start of 2021 and has added tremendous value since starting in January 2021. With this promotion, Aaron will lead conversions with prospective customers to create new opportunities and help grow topline revenue. He will influence the company’s technology strategy and solve pressing technology challenges for potential customers. Prior to joining RevaComm, Aaron worked on large-scale renewable energy systems, built data and analytics solutions for healthcare, and built hardware and software solutions for the Department of Defense.

Chelsea Haina, Director of Design Research & Strategy, will oversee RevaComm’s integration and practice of user-centered, data-driven methodologies companywide. In her expanded role, Haina will leverage qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design strategy as it relates to the human experience. Additionally, she will guide RevaComm’s execution of design research to foster digital transformation and push the boundaries of innovation. After joining RevaComm in September 2019, she led user experience and design research for an automated flight scheduling application called Puckboard, while also advising Retained Services projects regarding design research strategy. Previously, Haina taught Interaction Design at the University of Miami and has worked on projects with the University of Miami, Ghana Water Company, and NASA.

Kana Ribultan, Director of Product Design & Experience, will lead the company’s design practices and services by focusing on business goals, objectives, and user experiences. Ribultan joined RevaComm in April 2020 focusing on organization-wide User-Centered Design practices and implementing digital solutions internally, commercially, and major contracts with the Department of Defense. By utilizing strategic design thinking, UX/UI principles, and overseeing creative direction, she has led her team in researching and creating solutions that identify and solve for inefficiencies. As a California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo graduate in Graphic Communication, her multi-disciplinary creative journey has crossed over a myriad of industries.

Yee, Haina, and Ribultan all join RevaComm’s leadership team and reflect the company’s continued emphasis on User-Centered Design, User Experience, and Engineering. With their addition, three of the company’s eight leadership team members are female, and all are BIPOC. RevaComm is committed to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce at all levels of the company. The diversity of the leadership team reflects the diversity of the customers RevaComm serves in Hawaii and across the United States.
